WOW, Kayla! What an amazing piece and concept on managing your anxiety without substances. The concept of changing our language and the way we observe anxiety from "having" to "feeling" is a tough one to master. However, I can 100% relate that in practice it can change the way I feel it affects me. Running from it and using substances to escape is without a doubt easier but in learning to manage and sit with the feelings of anxiety we learn so much more about why it is there and what it is trying to tell us.
